ELU Jokes - Play on words - Question Sheet
Pre-teach:
Jokes. Joke prompt. Punch-line (tag line). Play on words.

There is an opposite sheet with the ANSWERS to these jokes.
Instructions:
For ease of use, the answers and questions are available on separate sheets. They are all in order. This is handy if you only have a small class, as you could just use one page of jokes (20) instead of using all of them (40) which can take a lot of time.
Print these ELU Joke questions off. Print off the ELU joke answers which match these (LOOK AT OTHER PRINTABLE SHEET). Cut them up. Put them in separate bags. Tell the students to put one answer and one question. Go around the class until all the jokes have been distributed. Students must try to find the appropriate answer or question for the pieces they have.
Additional Notes:
Questions bordered with thick, bold lines. Answers bordered with thin lines. This is to avoid confusion in the classroom.
