Ss match the vowel sounds that occur in the colours and aniamls. A good way to introduce this topic is by writing/or sticking the colours on the board and going through the vowel sounds. Then, take your own name as an example and show which vowel sound it corrosponds to (Tom = orange (underline o)). Ask Ss which colour they are, then you can review vocabulary by asking which colour it corrosponds to.
