after a discussion of adverb clauses i found out that my students still didnt have a grasp of adverbs and clauses, thus the making of this ws. there are 2 exercises on adverbs, followed by identification of clauses (dependent, independent) vs. fragment. you can modify your instructions for this. i used ´complete´ and ´incomplete´ to make it more understandable. then i ended with my current topic of adverb clauses where they were asked to identify the type of adv clause and to complete a sentence by supplying an adv clause.
