Here are some discussion questions to use after students read Ray Bradbury’s short story (science fiction) about interplanetary astronauts facing death. The idea is for each student to cross out or strike through all the questions he or she would NOT like to answer. The students then exchange question sheets with a partner and alternating questions, ask their partner the questions that he/she has not eliminated. After 1 or 2 pairs have finished, have the students take back their own question sheets and change partners. This time the students do NOT exchange question sheets, but interview their partners with the question sheets that they had not prepared themselves. This technique is called Revenge Questions, taken from John Morgan and Mario Rinvolucri’s great book, "Once Upon a Time" (C.U.P.)
