Plastic Fantastic
Iīve noticed that people are downloading this sheet but not the other two. If you have only downloaded this sheet, you only have one third of the materials. I had to break it up because the files were too large. Please make sure you have Plastic Fantastic reading 1 and 2 and Plastic Fantastic Activities or it wonīt make a lot of sense to you. These worksheets assist students to develop an opinion about whether supermarkets should charge for plastic bags, or not. Students will read about the disadvantages of plastic bags practising reading strategies and learning new vocabulary. As they read they form opinions and take notes with examples to assist in planning for writing. After which they will be able to draft a persuassive text.
This is the first half of a reading about the perils of plastic bags. The 2nd half of the reading is also available for down load as are activities to go with the reading.
