Part 1 of a game I invented (well I might have the idea from somewhere else but the worksheets all mine) to practice the simple past in a classroom environment.
Choose one or two people to be the policemen, they are investigating a bank robbery and the other students are suspects with provided alibis. The police card gives certain clues as to the thief´s whereabouts the day of the robbery so the policemen must ask the suspects questions as per the clues provided and the suspects will answer as per their alibis. The police must accuse one student based on their findings.
Great practice for affirmative and negative and interrogative simple past.
