Modal Verbs
This worksheet contains 3 activities. The first one was taken from a book I used to work with, but I cannot remember the name of it. Anyhow, the activity has been adapted by me. The 2nd & 3rd activities are my own creation.
Activity 1) Students look at the signs and complete with DONīT HAVE TO or MUSTNīT.
Activity 2) Students speculate about the pictures and come up with different ideas.
Activity 3) Students work in groups of 4 to decide how to solve the problem they were given (give ONE of the Situation Cards to each group).
I used these activities yesterday and my students had a lot of fun solving the problems! And so did I! Hope you find them useful. Have a nice day!
