Basil - The Great Mouse Detective
I prepared this video guide for my literature students. They are reading detective stories and I thought this movie would be great for them to work with the genre in a different way. THere are three different activities, in the first one, students have to compare the two main characters of the movie to two very famous characters from detective novels (Sherlock Holmes and Watson). In the second one, they have to complete a graphic organizer to sum up the story. Last, they have to write a report for the police retelling the events on the film.
