Simple Past, Present, and Future Verb Tense Activity
This printout involves all of the parts of a sentence necessary for learning how to independently construct sentences. The students can explore the differences between simple past, present, and future tense verb, and how this indicates time. The students are enabled to be creative, and often humorous. For example, they can each be required to make a sentence in turns, have a time limit, race against other students, or any other varieties. They can also work together, each contributing one part of the sentence in groups. It is helpful to tape on to the table in front of them the position in which to place each part of the sentence.
