This is a short little story I have written for my students to introduce them to the topic of desert and desert environment. I asked them to relax, lie their heads on their arms on the desks, close their eyes and imagine what they hear. Then, they are supposed to find out where this trip went with a following class conversation about what kinds of deserts do they know, where are they located, what other animals from the desert do they know, etc.
