What will you do during winter break?
I use this activity card to work on the future tense and stimulate the pupil´s oral expression. They rely on the prompts and on the pictures to make sentences. (The pictures are to be found on a vocabulary sheet I entitled activities during the holidays). I ask several students to repeat the sentences and when it becomes easy for them, I let them talk more freely changing the activities. Finally, I organize a chain speaking. The activity works very well especially for the kids who have difficulties. At first it is very systematic but gradually, the pupils become freer and can give vent to their imagination.
