English worksheet: Expressing Like/Donīt like Expressing Like/Donīt like

This 2-page worksheet practices the expression of liking or not liking different sports and other activities. Initially students must answer a list of about 2 dozen activities and indicate whether they like to or donīt like to do these things themselves. We then highlight that when we express that we like an activity, the subsequent verb is either in INFINITIVE or GERUND form. They then have a second page with 7 different sports on it where they must ask if that person likes that activity, answering in the positive or negative first using the INFINITIVE form, and then again answering using the GERUND form. We found this necessary practice for native Spanish-speaking students who tend to conceptualize "like" according to the objects or activities that "please" them.
