This is a reading comprehension activity that I used with my high school sts. The topic is not really easy to talk about, but it was a way that I used the language learning to make them becoming aware of some of the real problems in life, that happens a lot all over the world. Normally they say they are safe, but we never know what they might face one day… Well, somehow they felt confident to talk about the topic using the questions that I had prepared in advanced to bring up the issue. I think I accomplished my goal with this worksheet. I hope it may help you too.
