This are two writing tasks: The first is a story that students have to retell by looking at the pictures and it is meant to practise the simple past tense. The other written activity is a letter to a friend where they must talk about their holidays and what they are planning to do in the future (meant to practise going to) I used this as part of a test, and students felt free to write, they really liked it!
