Irish news channel - Listening comprehension - A change of accent for your students
Let your students experience an alternative accent!! This is an advanced listening comprehension, based on a report from the Irish news channel, RTE.
The exercise is short, and is designed as an interesting lead-in to a lesson on the economy/recession (Sorry for using the īRī word!!)
You can lengthen the exercise by adding more questions if you like. The listening can be found at the link provided at the bottom of the page. The report will run with Real Player(Can be downloaded free of charge from the RTE site)
