Sonny & Cherīs I Got You Babe Song Activity
This is basically a present simple activity. Except for the words earned and spent, all the others are infinitive-like present simple verb forms. Hope your students like it as mne do.
Ask your students to read the text first and guess some possible answers either individually, in pairs, or as a group.
Hand out the extracted words, and have students place them where they best fit.
Play the song and check their work.
Notice that some words fit more than one gap. You might use it for further discussions on grammar structures.
