GETTING TO KNOW EACH OTHER: These work great for a fist day of class with a group of students who has had previous instruction of the questions we ask someone they meet for the first time.(level 2 or so) Cut the cards and paste them in different parts of the classroom, so everyone doesn´t gather in the same spot. Tell students to write the questions they will have to ask in order to figure out the information required. At your signal everyone will start interviewing each other as they walk around the class. un The student who collects all the information will raise his/her hand. (You can vary the possibilities for the questions depending on your group size and age.)
