My Favourite Sport
A simple worksheet to support a sports related reading topic. Students make sentences about their sports preferences, and then use this information to help write(depending on the level)an essay or long paragraph. Before students begin the exercise, brainstorm ideas and create a word web on the board. Make sure that you elicit adjectives to describe the sport and how it makes the students feel. Also, encourage the students to give reasons to support their preferences.
