Acting Out Adverbs
This is a game in which students learn new adverbs and also learn to pronounce sentence in a certain way to convey a certain emotion. Students draw one adverb and one sentence, and must say that sentence in the way the adverb describes, sometimes leading to humorous results. Some of the vocabulary is advanced, but I have used this in both intermediate and advanced classes. Instructions are on the first page of the document.
