Once you have introduced the emotions vocabulary,(teaching them as opposite adjectives might be a good idea), have students do this activity in order for you to check whether they understand the concept and how they might explain the causes of the people´s feelings. You could role model one possible explanation for the first picture: "He is embarrased because he is wearing two different colored socks".
