Crazy story! Past simple.
This is a great, fun and appealing activity. The worksheet is divided into two sections. First, give your pupils the half that says "KEY WORDS". They are to write the words they are asked to (e.g: Any fruit: Apple, Any animal: Butterfly and so forth). When they are done (you might want to wait all of them are done). Give them the second half. The second half reads "Crazy story". Here they have two types of ´blanks´. ´red blanks´ which they are supposed to fill in with the regular or irregular verbs they have in parenthesis in the past simple. They also have ´blue blanks´ here they will complete gaps of the story using the ´Key words´ they previuously wrote. Key word number 1 belongs to blue blank 1, key word two belongs to blue blank 2 and so forth. Have them share their stories. It´s really fun.
