I WANT TO KNOW section: Why do they say O.K. and o´clock? What do a.m. and p.m. stand for?
My students asked me to explain what ´O.K.´ stands for. I was puzzled as I had never thought about it. I found the necessary information and I am really happy to share it with you. I hope it will amuse your students as well! I am also often asked what o´clock stands for and why they say ´a.m.´ and ´p.m.´, so I´ve decided to include this information into the worksheet to make it more interesting and helpful. Note: it should be 2 pages, not 4 - I don´t know why the file was uploaded that way, but when you download the worksheet I guess everything will be O.K. =0)
