Birthday calendar: When is your birthday? / When were you born?
Students ask their classmates "When is your birthday?" or "When were you born?". First project the worksheet and have a couple of students write the answers they hear on the transparency, then when the calendar is complete ask one student to copy the answers neatly on a paper version and in chronological order. Finally, photocopy for each student and hang a copy on the classroom wall, too.
You can analyse the results: three people were born in January, nobody was born in February, both A and B were born in March, etc. With large groups, I suggest you use this worksheet as a warming-up revision exercise of several lessons because itīll be boring to do the activity for the whole class the same day, especially if the writer is slow or weak and makes many mistakes for the rest of the class to correct!
