Riddle strips
Warm-up activity. I cut the riddles into strips and give one riddle and one answer/punch line to each student. If I only have a few students, I will give three or four riddles to each. Students walk around the classroom and try to find the answers to each riddle. After everybody finishes, they go back to their seats and we take turns reading our riddles. Itīs really fun when thay finally understand the joke. Some of the riddles are kinda silly, so they tend to laugh a lot.
