Freedom Fighters
4 texts about people who fought for freedom, with Qs to be asked. I usually do this as a group activity : each group has one text which they practice reading out loud together, then read out loud to the class. Several memebers of the group can do the reading, then the other students ask clarification Qs if necessary. After that, the group reading can ask the Qs provided and others they may have created themselves, to see if the other students have really understood well. At the end, each group can be assigned to summarize one of the other groupsī text as a writing exercise.
