Describing Feelings and Emotions
Ask your class to describe the feelings on the pictures like this: "Mary is astonished.", "Joan is confused." etc. Then, ask them to draw their own portrait, emotions and feelings in the empty box. When they are finished, all students exchange their portraits and comment on each otherīs feelings, e.g. "Today, Jennie is sad.", "Today, Maria is wild.", etc. The teacher is encouraged to participate and drew his/her portrait too!
