General culture quizz
A game to play with your students. Divide your class into several teams and start reading the first question. If one of the teams thinks they have the right answer before you finish reading, they can interrupt you by saying "stop!" and giving the answer. If the answer is correct, they´ve got the point, if not continue reading until another team gives the right answer and gets the point. Another way to exploit this ressource is to read only one question at the beginning of each lesson as a warming-up exercice.
