English worksheet: Describing Clothing Activity Describing Clothing Activity

This activity aims to allow students to practise describing clothes. One picture is given to each student and the students must write a description of the clothes worn by the person in their picture. The picture and the written description are then separated and the written descriptions distributed to different students in the class. The pictures will be put on display and students must match the written description they have been given with a picture. This level of this activity is dependent on the pictures chosen; with pictures of people wearing similar clothing adding an extra challenge to students.
