present perfect with battle ships
begins with a simple exercise, where you have to draw lines to connect the beginning and end parts (i.e. "I" --- "have" --- "already done" --- "my homework"). The first and fourth columns, as intimated by their boxed-in nature, denoting the start and end points of the line drawings.
Following on from this, an exercise where the students have to find the present perfects; and finally, a game of battleships, where the students have to shout sentence combinations rather than the usual A1 or C6. On reflection, perhaps a little bit of tinkering with the vocab in this last section would not be amiss.
