Role play: At a fast food restaurant
Role play activity where students need to ask for and give information. I usually ask all students A to get together and discuss the possible questions they need to ask (10 mins.). In the meantime, students B get together to check on pronunciation of the different food items and predict the questions they may be asked and get ready to answer them. After they do it once, you can ask them to exchange roles and partners and do it all over again (no preparation time this time!). I always monitor and make comments on their performance(pronunciation,intonation, vocabulary, grammar and the like)
