30 seconds topics
Two or three students choose a card and talk as much as they can about the topic they have on it. At the beginning it is difficult for them to talk, but finally they get used to doing it. If they don´t have anything to say about that topic, they have to invent something. I do this at the beginning of every class, so the students know that they have to be ready to speak a little when their teacher comes into the classroom.
