Dear Abby WS/Activity (Modal Verbs - Probability)
Worksheet designed to exercise reading, writing and modal verb skills involving probability (must, could, might, canīt). The first page involves two real Dear Abby letters, with prompts asking for the students to make deductions using modal verbs. The second page is mainly writing, allowing students to write responses to the earlier letters, while also making a letter of their own. These letters can be mixed b/w groups in the class, allowing students to answer each otherīs (often ridiculous) Dear Abby letters.
