spanglish - listening - NPR interview
This is a set of exercises based on an interview from NPR (National Public Radio, USA) about ´Spanglish´. The file contains 4 pages.
Though this is authentic material, the comprehension level doesn´t necessarily have to be advanced: intermediate level ss can complete the task well thanks to the way I have designed the exercises (e.g. ss are given the exact minute and second when they´ll hear the answer to each question, etc.)
Especially Spanish English learners become quite interested in the topic. As a warm-up I´ve also sent a pre-listening exercise
on Spanglish to introduce the topic.
