Getting to know your teacher
This is a good activity to do with a beginnerīs class when you first have them. I usually do it in this way.
1. Hand out sheets to pairs of students
2. Tell them they have to work out the questions together (you can pre-teach question formation if necessary) and then one of them has to come to the front, ask you the question, and then report the answer to their partner. If the question is not grammatically correct, explain you wonīt answer it, and students will need to reconstruct it.
3. I usually go and stand just outside the door while the students work out their questions in pairs, as this prevents pairs hearing the answers before they ask me.
4. At the end, you can recap on answers and any problems with question forms.
