Christmas vocabulary bingo
Pupils choose from the words listed below the table and add them randomly to the table. Teacher then speaks ad lib about Christmas to the class. Each time they hear a word, they cross through that box. Teacher awards a prize for the first pupil to get a straight line, and then a full house (all squares crossed out). This is a listening exercise that familiarises pupils with basic Christmas vocabulary, based on the game bingo.
