The Red Panda
Red Pandas are mammals. They live in cold forests in China. Red Pandas are arboreal; they spend all day in trees. They sleep on the branches of trees.
Red Pandas have got long, soft, red and brown fur. They have got long whiskers.
They have got claws. The claws are sharp and retractable. The teeth are big. They are necessary to chew bamboo leaves.
Red pandas eat bamboo leaves, fruit, grasses, roots, eggs, and small animals (like insects and young birds).
