This lesson plan integrates the four skills and uses real texts dealing with a controversial issue: illegal downloading. Students first watch 2 TV ads: one for and the other against piracy (youtube links are provided)and discuss about them. Then, they need to read an article on measures to avoid piracy, and finally a whole-class debate is held.For homework, they are given guidelines to write an opinion essay on piracy.
