GRAMMAR and WRITING. Designed to reinforce and expand on past simple v present perfect.It follows on from my w/s: http://www.eslprintables.com/printable.asp?id=313567#thetop but can be totally be used as a separate entity. 1/Controlled practice 2/Open-ended sentences and finally students write their own questions (Have you ever...; When did you last) to ask partner or teacher in next class. Use this anyway you wish of course. I like to give it as homework as it gives them time to mull over how to complete the sentences and to come up with more ingenious answers (hopefully!!) Best suited to Upper Intermediates. Hope you like it and the Michael Caine quote at the bottom!
