English vocabulary for cooking and eating out, and song
I have a group of about 8 students who come to my house every week to practice English. In this lesson I made Chocolate Chip Cookies with them. They LOVED it! They not only learned a lot of new cooking words and got to practice them while cooking, but they also got to eat the cookies. Before they ate the cookies they had to act out with a partner going to a restaurant and ordering dinner. We also did this while the cookies were baking. If any of you are teaching from your house I suggest trying this, the students love it. :) GL
