Speaking cards: answer questions on the picture, ask your mate about... (Present continuous, Simple Present, Can/canīt, physical appearance, school subjects, sports, etc.)
1- Ask your mate about... (e.g.: his/her abilities)
2- Look at the picture and answer the questions (e.g.: What is the man doing?)
3- Questions about the reader. (If appropriate).
I use these cards for oral exams. Students come to the front in pairs, pick a card, read it silently and then, in turns, ask and answer questions. After that, I ask them some questions about the reader theyīve read in class (plot, characters, ending, etc.)
