Bruce Springsteen (reported speech)
This is a worksheet I use to practise reported speech with 16-year-old students. First, I explain the grammar (reported speech here) and then I hand in the worksheet and let them work on it. After a while, I check if they know the answer to question 2 (surprisingly, here in Spain, they usually donīt!) and express my disappointment. After the corrections, I give them page 2 and play the song so they can practise the listening too. Itīs a pretty amusing activity. Of course, you can change the missing words! I hope you enjoy it too!
