this is an activity card for teachers of English. It deals with function of making request and responding to them. First, students are introduced with a dialogue in which the participants make requests and respond to them. This to make awa of the function. Then, they are asked to extract expressions from the dialogue and fill the table. Late, they read mixed expessions and try to put them in the correct column/ they should respect formality. then, they make short dialogues to practise the structure
