In my bed room (THERE IS/THERE ARE)
THERE IS/THERE ARE 6 exercises and keys (3 pages). On the first page there is a chart with PREPOSITIONS OF PLACE and a fill in exercise. Three more exercises deal with affirmative, negative and interrogative forms of THERE IS/THERE ARE . On the second page you can find a speaking exercise – FIND SIX DIFFERENCES. The teacher has to cut this page into two parts and give each part to a different student. SS work in pairs, asking and answering questions with THERE IS/THERE ARE trying to find 6 differences in their pictures. Exercise 6 is a writing exercise, ss write down the differences looking at both pictures. The keys are on page three. I hope you’ll find it useful. Have a nice day!
