English worksheet: Was-were pelmanism Was-were pelmanism

Students place the cards face down into two groups. They take a card from each group and try to make a sentence with was/were. Example: Franco and Mussolini were dictators / werenīt opera singers If the pair isnīt correct they replace the cards. If itīs the right one, they keep the cards. The winner is the student with the highest number of cards.
