Prepositions of place, there is / there are, where is...? Oral and written practice
In my classroom tables are arranged in a horseshoe shaped outline. So, in this activity, students have to write down everybody´s names on the correct table.
IF YOU HAVE A DIFFERENT OUTLINE IN YOUR CLASSROOM,YOU CAN MAKE CHANGES TO THE PICTURE/TABLES USING THE PROGRAMME "PAINT". IT´S SUPER EASY!
1) Write down your name and the names of your mates in the correct place.
2) Complete with names. (e.g.:____________ is next to ___________.)
I also use this activity for oral practice to revise there is / there are and where is / are...? (e.g.: Is there a window next to the teacher? Where is Tom? Are there any TVs in the classroom?)
