AGREE DISAGREE SPEAKING ACTIVITY 1
GAME INSTRUCTIONS PART 1 BY JDRC Practises the giving of opinions, agreeing, disagreeing and reasoning. CONTENTS OF GAME : 2 sets of cards: 1 giving controversial statements and the other saying how the student should respond. (This game can be played without the latter set of cards, in this case, students just give their opinions.) HOW TO PLAY : Cards are turned face-down in two piles. Students turn over one of each card and speak on the subject. Other students are encouraged to join in. This can be used as a speaking activity or turned into a game with points being given for good arguments and/or correct language.
