This activity is for upper-intermediate to advanced level students. Put students in groups of three. Student A begins by politely complaining to student B about the problem, but student B is in no mood to compromise. When it becomes obvious that A and B can¡¯t compromise, student C interrupts and offers a solution that requires both A and B to compromise. After they reach a compromise, rotate roles and choose two new cards.
