Present Continuous and Simple Past Matching Cards with Doraemon the Cat
To use these cards for a matching game, students must match up three cards for each image (meaning the picture card, a sentence card and a past tense verb card). If you print two copies of each sheet, your students can match the pictures or match the words. There are several ways to play. If you print multiple copies or find more images, you can make a great game of Go Fish. When children line up three cards for each image ask them to make similar sentences with the last card which shows a verb in the past tense form.
Have fun!
