Funny questions practice - "One Step Behind".
This is a really fun(ny) activity to practice interrogatives. It also makes a fun filler or quick communicative activity to change the atmosphere.
Here´s how it works. Students find partners. One partner asks the questions, and the other person has to answer them... BUT, there´s a twist. The partner who answers keeps silent for the first question. THEN, for the second question, they give the answer for the *first* question.
Example:
John: Where do you sleep?
Mary: [says nothing]
John: Where do you eat?
Mary: In bed!
John: Where do you meet friends?
Mary: In my kitchen!
And so on...
I´m sure you can imaging the funny answers this creates! Have fun.
