English worksheet: Best speaker game Best speaker game

Instructions for the teacher: Tell the students you want them to play a game and the aim of the game is to find the best speaker. Explain the 3 rules to them (see work sheet) and then concept check to make sure they remember. Then allow them to come and get a topic and an instruction sheet. Students then find a partner to talk to. *Make sure the students understand that after they have finished talking about their topics they MUST find a new partner AND a new topic to talk about. About 20 minutes into the class have the students sit down and make 2 of their own topics. Take their topics in and redistribute so that the class has a new set of topics. The class can continue as before.
